LINKING WORLDS THROUGH DANCE

Dear Art lovers,

We are glad to invite you to the launching of the first CID-Section in India,

Dadar-Mumbai Section of CID,

With the 49th World congress of dance to be held in Dadar-Mumbai, India from  7-11 Dec’2016,

The congress endorses the harmony, peace and good-will linking worlds through the didactic potency of Dance and is open to all forms of dance:  Classical , Ballet, Modern, Folk, Ballroom, Oriental, Tango, Therapeutical, Recreational, Revival etc.

Like all Congresses it would engender a sense of reaching out to belong to a larger dance fraternity, ‘The CID family’ - that absolutely shares your trials and tribulations! Of special significance is the presence of the President of Internatinal Dance Council,  Prof.Dr. Alkis Raftis,  who will hand over the International Certification  parchments to students/dancers ; Other senior CID  officials  will  also  attend the congress .

We reach out to each of you, who in your own way are transforming the space around you with the kinesthetics of the Arts to make of the world - a parenthesis in eternity, be it as specialists in cultural studies, art historians, psychologists, sociologists, anthropologists, philosophers, theologists, medics, choreographers, dance teachers, dance therapists, dance film directors and professionals representing all forms of dance from all over the world !

.
The Performances would truly highlight the significance of ‘dancing into meaningful moments’ !

In fact the World Congress on Dance Research is the best opportunity for professionals and amateurs to interact and highlight the cycle of ‘growing as we learn and learning as we grow’

It is ever so vital to breathe in the culturally diverse aesthetics, pulsating through the skyline of Mumbai  endorsing ‘unity in diversity’ through art, architecture, cuisine, music and dance. Special tours with discounted tariffs given by tour operators could be arranged if informed, so as to visit the The Gateway of India , the CST Museum known as the Prince of Wales Museum, the Bandra-worli sea-link , etc. on Dec 11’2016

Besides these there would be visits to the National Centre of Performing ArtsNehru Centre the Shanmukhananda hall with a history through six decades , some dance studios that touch up the city with the aesthetics of the Arts!
